About Me

I'm Juan Louder. Several years ago I set out to narrate my own audiobook. No, I didn't have a home recording studio at the time.

I quickly figured out that there was a lot to learn about voice acting and narration, but even more to learn about how to make my voice-over recordings sound crisp and clean, and make them meet the technical submission requirements for an audiobook.

Little by little, I started learning how to record high-quality audio in my own home. I learned the hard way what works and what doesn't, so you don't have to suffer through the same trouble. Flash forward to today: Now I have a whole blog about audio recording at home! This is the site where I share everything I learned about the subject.

Enjoy.
